Microsoft WPC 2012 – review through ComputerTalk’s eyes

WPC 2012 One Week After

Microsoft uses their annual Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, which is hosted in a different city every year, to show Partners the new products that are coming down the Microsoft pipeline. This year, WPC was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in Toronto, Canada.

Partners who attend WPC also have the opportunity to make global connections and to form new partnerships. From the numerous lounge areas scattered throughout the exhibition hall (perfect for talking with other Partners, away from the booths), interactive touch-screen maps, and the Microsoft-provided scanners that allow you to take down contact information of the people you meet, Microsoft provided Partners with the environment to network and make connections.

We spent weeks preparing for the big week and it definitely paid off. The experience and our successes exceeded our expectations. On top of learning about new products from keynote speakers, we benefited from the following:
